TCE has partnered up with Dr. Veronica Terriquez out of USC’s Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) to lead a long term study to measure the impacts of BHC youth programs on the lives of youth participants and their communities.  The first phase of the study is to identify one young adult (over 18) from each BHC site to serve as a BHC Youth Research Associate Intern. The Research Associate Interns will work directly with Dr. Terriquez and will receive training on survey questionnaire design, community action research and will help to design the overall youth evaluation. Interns will receive a $1,000 stipend and will spend approximately 10 hours per week over a six month period working on the BHC youth evaluation. A full description of the BHC Research Associate Internship responsibilities, qualifications, and application process are included in the attachment.
