Land Use Opportunity

posted Jul 10, 2013, 11:49 AM by BHC South LA
Community Health Councils and the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust invite you to attend a special gathering to discuss exciting developments related to the greening of underutilized and vacant land in Los Angeles. We are spearheading two new projects—LAOpenAcres.org and Transforming Inner-City Lost Lots (TILL)—to build community resources and tools that will explore, document, and analyze the potential for new and community-serving green space for Los Angeles. Some neighborhoods are severely impacted by vacant, blighted, and otherwise abandoned land. This gathering is an early opportunity to shape the development of these resources and tools so they can be most useful to your community and organization. Furthermore, we hope that this gathering will help inform all attendees of similar exciting efforts happening throughout Los Angeles county.

Dinner will be provided. Event is Tuesday, July 16 at Mercado la Paloma.
PLEASE SEND AN RSVP EMAIL TO: SONDRINA@CHC-INC.ORG
