Denim Day 2013

Every year since 1999, Peace Over Violence has organized Denim Day in Los Angeles & USA. Denim Day is a rape prevention education campaign, where community members, elected officials, businesses and students are asked to make a social statement with their fashion by wearing jeans as a visible means of protest against misconceptions that surround sexual assault. This year, Denim Day is Wednesday, April 24. Let's stand together and raise awareness collectively and symbolically in a virtual BHC South LA Denim Day. Rock your denim on Wednesday and send a photo of yourself to denimday@peaceover
violence.org
or via twitter using the hashtag #denimday.
