Community Coalition will have its Second Annual
Powerfest music concert on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Martin Luther
King Park on 39th St. and Western Ave in South Los Angeles. It will be a
fun-filled day for families and young people to enjoy a music concert at the
park, food trucks, community resources and enroll in health insurance. The
Powerfest is an opportunity to bring together the black and brown communities
through music and entertainment. What makes the Powerfest unique is that
Community Coalition and other organizations will educate people to embrace
healthcare as a universal human right while at the same time making sure they
enroll in the Affordable Care Act. A mobile health clinic will be on site, as
well as a healthcare tent to enroll people, and fun activities for kids. For
