Richmond Honored to Host a Visit from the California Endowment Board! Healthy Richmond partners were pleased to host a visit from the California Endowment Board on May 16th. During a "World Cafe" exercise, grantee partners had the opportunity to share
their work and how the drivers of change are being employed to advance Healthy
Richmond priorities in the campaign areas of Health Happens in Schools, in
Neighborhoods and with Prevention. Other highlights included remarks from California Endowment Program Manager Diane Aranda, a spotlight
on the Operation Peacemaker Fellowship from the Richmond Office of Neighborhood
Safety, and a youth panel discussion on how youth leaders are working to create a youth-friendly city. Richmond Resident Curtis Zackery Wins Healthy Richmond Logo Contest! Congrats to Curtis Zackery, winner of the Healthy Richmond logo contest (receiving his $500 check in photo below, second from right)! Many thanks to all who submitted logo concepts! "My intention is that the budding plant would communicate a sense of hope for the development and transformation we desire to see in the city of Richmond," said Zackery.
