National Association for the Education of Homeless Children & Youth: Youth Task Force in Sacramento

National Association for the Education of Homeless Children & Youth is looking to start a Youth Task Force in Sacramento.  The goal of this task force will be to help support youth who are in transition or don't have a stable home in Sacramento.  They are looking to hire 2 local youth coordinators for the project to provide project staff with advice and feedback on ideas to assist youth.  The preferred candidate is a young adults between 18-20 with current or past lived experience with transitioning or being homeless.  

 

Also, there is a Homeless Youth Task Force meeting on Tuesday January 29th from 3-4pm at Wind Youth Services, located at 701 Dixieanne Ave. Sacramento, CA 95815.  Snacks will be provided. The meeting is open to anyone interested in youth homelessness in Sacramento.
