Steps to College has been designed to provide a one-stop educational exhibit for Latino high school students in Northern California seeking to earn a college degree. It features information and on-site guidance as well as financial assistance opportunities, all in a bilingual setting for members of the whole family.

The event is organized by the following partners: The Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento; the California Student Aid Commission; the Cien Amigos civic group; the Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California; the Latino Policy Coalition; Sacramento State University; University of California, Davis; The College Board; Dream Develop Do; and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.

This year's university fair is expected to attract 2,500 students from all throughout Northern California. Representatives from dozens of California colleges and universities will be providing information about their admission process.
