SABHC Work Groups

The SABHC Work Groups consists of community residents and youth, community leaders and partners, and BHC allies.  The purpose of the work groups is to help the SABHC Steering Committee give focus to the initiative around important areas linked to the SABHC Community Plan.  Work Groups provide analysis and recommendations to the Steering Committee with regards to community priorities.

Summary of Work Group activities:


Prevention: Group has finalized up-date of Prevention logic model which include a itemized list of activities by responsible organization.  Focusing on the impact of the Affordable Care Act in Santa Ana.


Land use: Currently organizing a basic urban planning training.


Education:  Group has finalized providing input to SAUSD new Family Engagement Framework; SAUSD director of constituencies will return to group to present final draft of framework.


Safety: Currently small community safety dialogues have been conducted with adult residents and youth.
