Job openings with LA County DPH--PLACE Program

The PLACE Program at the LA County Public Health Department fosters policy change in support of healthy, active communities.  We have recently received several grants which will allow us to bring on new staff.  We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about these job opportunities by forwarding this email.  The positions are described below and job announcements are attached.  Thank you for your help! 
Active Transportation Planner/Project Manager:
 The Active Transportation Planner will serve as project manager for the Healthy Policies Initiative, which supports policy change in cities with high rates of obesity.  This person will have primary responsibility for preparing active transportation plans and policies (e.g. Safe Routes to School Plans, bicycle and pedestrian plans, etc.) including all technical, management, and outreach duties.
Outreach Coordinator/Project Manager:
The Outreach Coordinator will have primary responsibility for all project management and administrative duties of the Active Transportation Outreach Program. This program will build support for and gain input into the development of bicycle and pedestrian amenities in Los Angeles County unincorporated areas.
Outreach Assistant:
The Outreach Assistant will support the implementation of the Active Transportation Outreach Program under the direction of the Outreach Coordinator. This program will build support for and gain input into the development of bicycle and pedestrian amenities in Los Angeles County unincorporated areas.
Grant Writer:
The Grant Writer will work with low income cities to develop and submit grant applications to fund the implementation of active living plans, policies and programs such as Safe Routes to Schools Programs, park plans, bicycle and pedestrian master plans, etc.
