Next Wednesday, March 30, Building Healthy Communities - Del Norte & Adjacent Tribal Lands will host free trainings in social media and campaign planning and messaging led by Rally. The event is funded by The California Endowment, with the goal to grow community knowledge in these important areas for promotion of events, advocacy campaigns and more.

Social Media Training
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

As the media landscape evolves, social media offers the opportunity for community-based efforts to tell their own story and shape a narrative.

Whether you're a 140-character veteran or just created on lnstagram account yesterday, RALLY's Social Media Workshop will provide you with the roadmap you need to use social media effectively in your community as part of a communications strategy. We will teach you to:
• shape a narrative
• reach your targeted audience
• build engagement in your community

How does a campaign go from identifying a problem to celebrating a victory?
Whether you're a by-the-book planner or someone who thrives on spontaneity, RALLY's Campaign Planning and Messaging Workshop will provide you with the tools to bring you success in 2016. Join us to learn how to:
• set clear and realistic goals
