CCRP Summer Youth Jobs Available

This is a 24 hours/week, Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (occasionally you may be asked to show up for work at slightly different times), 2-month position (July 1st – August 23rd) in the California Center for Rural Policy through Humboldt State University Sponsored Programs Foundation.

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, interns will be required to work 6 hours a day, Monday through Thursday doing data entry. The internship will be located in Crescent City; however, there will be multiple field trips out of the area (transportation will be provided).
This position requires all interns to participate in:
weekly trainings on life skills and job readiness skills,
community volunteer work,
field trips and camps, and
on the job training at local businesses and organizations. 

This will give interns the opportunity to be involved in Building Healthy Communities, but also the opportunity to gain invaluable skills and relationships in the Del Norte and Adjacent Tribal Lands workforce.

Duties:
CCRP expects all employees to conduct themselves in the utmost professional manner for the good and wellbeing of all—everyone is EXPECTED to:
Listen with respect and talk with respect
Let your supervisor know if you have questions or concerns about a work assignment
Be an ambassador and good representative of CCRP
Notify CCRP in advance if you will not be coming to work
Be professional and courteous at all times have a great experience 

Minimum Qualifications:
Community member of Del Norte or Yurok Tribal Lands
13 - 21 years old
